First teddy bear....

I made my first ever teddy bear today :) it has to have been one of the loveliest sewing projects I've done in such a long time :) it got me thinking of my first teddy 'teddy Robinson' ... I wil have to take a wee photo shoot of him Tomo :) ....

Discovering new music is always a passion for me. The music

videos created alongside great songs is something I get very

excited about. I could spend hours and a day, dreaming up 

music video interpretations of my favourite songs and tunes.

Everything from the lighting and costume to the props and camera direction fascinate me.

Perhaps one day I will get a chance to work on a music video myself.

Until then I will continue to watch and take creative note :)

OK OK I am taking control of ths blogging malarky!!! I havnt really put a lot of focus into my content, so here goes!!!whoop whoop!!

 I've been getting the new gerty website finished off.... well my very kind big bro has been doing all the techno work...I've just been sending him orders.

My sewing machine has been going a dinger with new designs, and my house is gradually over growing with loose threads and proving an under foot dagger hazard with all those pesky pins hidden in all my soft furnshings.ouch!!

So with a pin pricked butt and a new sewing machine proving to be the best purchase ever!!!! Im turning into an anti social , craft obsessed nutt , with only youtube videos as my companion... I need a life !!hehe!!

So thats how i am going to use this blog...Im gonna get out and about for some real inspiration!! With maybe a few wee youtube vids thrown in for good measure!!

So between Belfast and Edinburgh m bound to fnd something excting to photograph and yarn about :)

So on the same vein of my 'mini mantelpiece rambling' I've been thinking of all my kitsch nik naks...my tea sets, garden ghomes...all the stuff I wouldn't let my mum get rid of over the years, all of my cool little charity store findings ( and there are many, namely my sara moon picture ). So anyways I've been listening alot to the likes of the Bird and the Bee and She and him lately.

 In particular the latest She and Him music video for 'Don't Look Back'  is fab!! Its like how Ikea adds might have looked way back when , If way back when was now hehe.

Old fashioned or not, the wee ledge ontop of your fireplace is the resting place for many a crafty creation,Picture frame, vase...... When i moved into my house last summer I was super excited to find it was complete with its very own spangly new gas fire.. yay!! Finally my charity shop retro cats and my mums old clock had the perfect resting place. I love my mantlepiece.. Whats on yours?
